There are no graduate entry medicine options at MCE, but student transfers are accepted from the 2nd year onwards.
The tuition fees for the Medicine course at MCE are for EU students and for non-EU students, if they are paid in two instalments.
However, students get a discount if they pay the whole sum in just 1 instalment, and the tuition fee becomes for EU students and for non-EU students.
Additionally, MCE rewards dedicated and hard-working students, and each year, the top-ranked undergraduate students are awarded an academic excellence scholarship.
To apply to MCE, students need to have a high school diploma and pass an entrance examination that consists of 80 multiple-choice questions in Biology and Chemistry. Both sections give the same amount of points, and students are given 120 minutes to complete the test.
There are only 50 available spots for the MD programme in English at MediCampus Europeo.

MCE is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA), which is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
This means that the MCE programme follows the strict standards set by the European Union (EU) and that students receive an internationally recognised degree and qualification.
Additionally, under the EU Directive on the Recognition of Professional Qualifications (2005/36/EC), the MCE medical degree is automatically recognised throughout the EU, and graduates are eligible to practise as doctors without additional examinations.
The academic year at MCE begins in October each year and is divided into 2 semesters - Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer.

Another highlight is that MCE makes use of intentionally small classroom sizes with only 10 students per class.
