About the University of Belgrade

The University of Belgrade was founded in 1808, but nowadays, it is one of the largest European universities, with almost 100,000 students. The school consists of 31 faculties in different areas of study. Also, 12 research institutes belong to the faculty, including one for medical research.

The pharmacy course is 5 years, and the annual tuition fee is . Competition is very high, since there are only 8 seats available into the programme of studying pharmacy in English language.

University of Belgrade Admission & Entry Requirements

Applying for the English-taught medicine course requires passing an entrance exam. The examination consists of a written part and a personal interview. The written part includes Biology and Chemistry questions at a secondary school level. The minimum passing score is 31 points out of a total 60. Both parts of the test will also evaluate your English language skills.

The ranking score is based on your passing grade on the exam and your high school leaving certificate grades. It is obligatory to have at least C grades.
